My Rating System.
Loved loved loved
I loved the book. Already I’m planing to re read it. The characters were amazing and the storyline intriguing. I was pulled in from the start and only let out at the end. When I was reading the book I could block everything else out, it was just me and the book. I’m currently experiencing a very bad book hangover and I can’t stop talking about the book to anyone who will listen. I may be going Fangirl crazy.
4.5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2
I adored this book. I defiantly recommend it.
Really enjoyed it.
There isn’t much difference between my four and five stars. It depends really on how I felt when finishing the book. Normally I give four stars if the book was brilliant but some things I found slacking or one of the main characters does something not too bad but I can’t get over it. If the storyline was slightly slow. I still defiantly reccomend four star books. Everyone’s taste is different- what I found slacking someone else could have loved.
3.5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2
Really liked it.
Normally when I give a book 3.5 stars it means I liked it a lot but there was just something missing, some characters may not have been my favorite or the book started off to slow. I still reccomend it.
3 Stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
When I give a book three stars it means I found it okay but it may have took longer to interest me. I didn’t find myself fully invested in the book. I skimmed through some parts. I did enjoy the book when finished but probably won’t be re reading. The three stars is a classic – it started of great but didn’t build up to its full potential.
2.5 Stars ⭐️⭐️1/2
It was okay.
If I give a book 2.5 stars, I found a good portion of it angered me. I didn’t enjoy it very much but still managed to finish it. I only started to enjoy it near the end. I wouldn’t really reccomend.
2 Stars. ⭐️⭐️
Found it a struggle to read.
It is rare for me to give a book two stars. I’ve read a total of 1️⃣4️⃣0️⃣ books so far and I think I’ve honestly given four out of them two stars. A two star book for me is a book I found extremely hard to read but still managed to finish. It lacked entertainment and the characters get on my nerves.
I Disliked it so much I couldn’t find anything to make me even like it.
I don’t normally give out one stars. It’s extremely rare. I find there is always something to make me enjoy a book, with some exceptions.
*I won’t lie I used to give a star to books I’ve DNFed but after some consideration I’ve stopped. If I don’t finish a book I will not rate it. I’ll probably leave a reason as to why but that’s about it.
